Dear SJV Family,
I hope you're enjoying the beautiful weather. Even though we're apart, the SJV spirit is alive and well in the homes of our families and staff.
SJV is truly a supportive and loving community, and nowhere was that more evident than in your responses to last week’s survey. Here are just a few of the comments that we received:
The entire SJV staff thanks you for your continual encouragement and support. We will be taking all your constructive input from the survey and using it to improve our continuous learning program.
Tomorrow evening begins the summit of the Church year, the Sacred Triduum, from the evening of Holy Thursday to the evening of Easter Sunday. Though they are chronologically three days, they are liturgically one sacred day unfolding for us Jesus’ passion, death, and resurrection.
In order to allow people to watch the cathedral's Holy Thursday Mass live, packet pick-up tomorrow will end at 4:00 pm. If you are dropping off work from last week or picking up packets for next week, please be sure to arrive between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm.
I encourage you to participate as much as you are able to in the livestreamed Holy Week liturgies. You and your family can participate by visiting https://www.dioceseofspokane.org/mass-at-home or by visiting the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes Facebook page. Here is the schedule:
As we draw closer to the celebration of Easter, I pray for your continued good health.
In Christ,
Nick Senger, Principal
