St. John Vianney Catholic School is seeking after-school care teachers for the 2025-2026 school year. 

Minimum Position Requirements: 

• Supports the St. John Vianney Catholic School mission and philosophy
• At least 18 years of age
• Experience working with preschool and elementary school-aged children
• Enthusiastic and assertive in keeping students engaged and productive
• Possesses strong communication skills with children, co-workers, and parents
• A team player with good conflict resolution skills
• Presents a professional demeanor
• Willing to complete all Department of Youth, Children and Families (DCYF) requirements including TB test, background check, and CPR/First Aid training (costs will be reimbursed when completed) 

• Practicing Catholic
• Experience in Catholic education
• Possess or currently working towards an AA or BA in education or a related field 

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday - flexible days to accommodate student schedules
• 2:30pm - 6:30pm during the school year on school days
• School breaks and holidays off

Salary: $17-$20 per hour DOE; offered salary is based on diocesan-wide pay for certain positions, internal equity, market data, applicant’s skills and relevant experience, degrees and certifications 

Benefits (<20 hours/week ) - This position is eligible for employee-paid 403(b), state-paid medical and family leave, and sick leave
