Junior High English/Language Arts Teacher (.7 FTE) - St. John Vianney Catholic School, Spokane Valley
Position Summary:
St. John Vianney Catholic School is seeking a part-time (.7 FTE) junior high English/Language Arts teacher.

Requirements:
Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate or another state’s equivalent
Prior experience in a Catholic school is preferred
Pay & Benefits:
$29,125 - $51,671; offered salary is based on diocesan-wide pay for certain positions, internal equity, market data, applicant skills, relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
Part-time positions are eligible for sick leave and a 403(b) voluntary retirement plan.

After-School Care Teacher (Part-Time) - St. John Vianney Catholic School
St. John Vianney Catholic School is seeking after-school care teachers for the 2024-2025 school year.
Minimum Position Requirements:
- Supports the St. John Vianney Catholic School mission and philosophy
- At least 18 years of age
- Experience working with preschool and elementary school-aged children
- Enthusiastic and assertive in keeping students engaged and productive
- Possesses strong communication skills with children, co-workers, and parents
- A team player with good conflict resolution skills
- Presents a professional demeanor
- Willing to complete all Department of Youth, Children and Families (DCYF) requirements including TB test, background check, and CPR/First Aid training (costs will be reimbursed when completed)
Qualities Preferred, but Not Required:- Practicing Catholic
- Experience in Catholic education
- Possess or currently working towards an AA or BA in education or a related field
Job Type: Part-timeSchedule:
- Monday through Friday - flexible days to accommodate student schedules
- 2:30pm - 6:30pm during the school year on school days
- School breaks and holidays off
Salary: $17-$20 per hour DOE; offered salary is based on diocesan-wide pay for certain positions, internal equity, market data, applicant’s skills and relevant experience, degrees and certifications
Benefits (<20 hours/week ) - This position is eligible for employee-paid 403(b), state-paid medical and family leave, and sick leave
