Background Mr. Robert Hardin teaches Fifth Grade as well as Sixth Grade History. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from Eastern Washington University in 2004. He majored in Social Studies for education and also received an additional teaching endorsement in English Education. For the past nine years he has worked as an English teacher in Seoul, Korea. There he worked at two middle schools and most recently an elementary school. During his time in Korea he taught students from Third Grade up to Eighth Grade. This will be Mr. Hardin's third year teaching at St. John Vianney. He has become an intregal part of our community.
Educational Philosophy Mr. Hardin chooses to teach in a Catholic school because he wants to teach in the kind of school that he would want his own children to attend. He wants to teach his students about the science, history, and literature, but he also wants to teach them about faith, hard work, and making good choices.
